Sarah and Ryan are huge fans of adventure. When it is cold they are out playing the snow skiing or snowshoeing, and when it is warm you can find them hiking a trail. These two don't like to sit still, and they are always busy staying outside or working using the skills they gained together in school studying for their MBAs.
When it was time for Ryan to propose, he picked the perfect spot by Horsetooth Falls to pop the question, and of course Sarah said "yes" with tears streaming down her face. Luckily there were no tears and only adventure as we set off to celebrate their engagement in one of their favorite Western Colorado places on the Grand Mesa. We met early in the morning to capture the glow of the rising sun, and despite the snow, their snuggling and laughter kept them nice and warm as we hiked around talking about their relationship and how excited they are to get married.
Sarah found her perfect spot in the nook of Ryan's neck, and he admitted that he secretly loves her cold hands and feet, which she made sure to wrap around him. They were all smiles even slipping around in the snow and falling waist deep into a snowbank a time or two. I could tell just from the way they look at each other that they are a couple who will keep each other laughing and adventuring for a lifetime. Congratulations Sarah and Ryan! I can't wait to celebrate your wedding day!
