From the moment you walk up to the gates of Hotel Colorado, you know you are in for something special, which is why Hannah and Nick chose this amazing historical spot for their destination summer wedding. Built in the 1890s, the hotel was modeled after an Italian villa, and its lovely towers and beautiful outdoor courtyard make the perfect setting for a romantic wedding. Hannah and her bridesmaids took over the top floor suite with its amazing balconies overlooking Glenwood, while Nick and the men prepared for the wedding with a little Smash Bros tournament in another room.
Both groups were as excited as could be as they got ready to walk down the aisle to music from a string quartet for the ceremony in front of the hotel fountain. The couple exchanged vows to a summer breeze and cover from a canopy of trees and then snuck out for a few moments to themselves on the wind swept balcony at the top of the hotel. Then they finished out the evening with a delicious gluten free cake decorated by grandma, and of course dancing the night away before taking off for their adventurous honeymoon.
For the couple who loves hiking and the mountains, this was the perfect way to celebrate their journey that started out as students going through college at a distance to finally graduating on as a married couple ready to start their greatest adventure in life together.
