Bianca and Haden knew they couldn't wait even one extra day to become Mr. and Mrs. VanWinkle, so when COVID threw a wrench in their plans, they came up with a way to say their "I do's" safely and beautifully and save the big party for later.
They contacted their wedding venue Vista View Events Center in Rifle, Colorado who generously agreed to let the couple have a super small ceremony with just a few family members and fur babies in attendance.
Bianca grabbed her customized Mrs. VanWinkle jean jacket, and Haden pulled out his finest jeans and boots for a country wedding meant just for two. Emptied shotgun shells served as holders for the men's boutonnieres, while their hands made excellent holders for their beers. The weather was perfectly overcast and gorgeous, and amazingly cool for the middle of summer. The fresh cut grass smelled heavenly, and created the perfect setting for an intimate celebration.
While Bianca and her ladies got ready, Haden pulled up in the vintage truck that he had poured so many hours into restoring. It was a labor of love, and the perfect addition to their fun and relaxed celebration. While their doggies ran around the expansive venue property, Bianca and Haden snuggled in the front seat and stole a few kisses behind the wheel. After a few sunset photos, they drove their sweet ride all the way back to Grand Junction, earning plenty of honks and waves from strangers along the way. It was perfectly Bianca and Haden, and even though only their nearest and dearest could be there, the spirit of love and happiness was as big as could be for celebrating this beautiful couple on their big day. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. VanWinkle!
