I cannot think of a more romantic setting than gorgeous Ouray, Colorado for engagement photos. I was honored to travel there with this beautiful couple to visit a place very close to their hearts, and the site of their wedding next year! It made the celebration extra special to return to the spot where Andrew popped the question and he and Jessica decided to begin a lifetime of adventure together.
In the words of the bride-to-be: "Ouray was the first mountain town Andrew took me to when we moved to the Western Slope and I immediately fell in love with its charm! When talking through town on our first visit and seeing The Beaumont Hotel, Andrew joked about us getting married there. Fast forward one year, and we not only got engaged at Cascade Falls in Ouray, but we are having our reception at The Beaumont Hotel! Ouray, Colorado has a special place in our hearts.
The engagement at the falls was so sweet. Andrew told me his mother wanted a picture of us and asked me to climb to a ledge in the middle of the falls. When I turned to take the picture (soaking wet) Andrew was down on one knee!"
