When Taylor proposed to Annie at their home in Denver, he knew he had to return to his hometown to celebrate one of the most important events in his life. The two picked one of the most beautiful places they could think of atop the Colorado National Monument to exchange their vows and become husband and wife.
After spending the day getting ready in nearby Fruita, the bridal party rounded themselves up into an RV for a fun trip up the monument, and made their big entrance to see the beautiful ceremony set up overlooking Independence monument. With Annie's dad serving as the officiant, they said their emotional "I do's," and let the guests return to a cooler climate while the bridal party played around the monument and popped a few bottles of well-deserved champagne.
Then they rode the RV back down to Fruita to spend the rest of the evening celebrating, toasting, and enjoying delicious BBQ from The Ribber and treats from Baker's Boutique. With help from DJ Merik Music the guests danced the night away and enjoyed celebrating the new Mr + Mrs Doughty.
