Sometimes two people are just meant for each other, and that is the case for this beautiful couple who drove all the way from Michigan to elope at the amazing Gateway Canyons Resort in Gateway, Colorado. They could instantly tell the drive was worth it as they pulled up to the resort for their romantic getaway and marriage among some of the most beautiful scenery imaginable.
For Sophia and Antonio, it was a long journey to this place. It all began when a friend tried to set them up, which Sophia knew and Antonio did not. The friend told Antonio that Sophia needed work done on her roof (which she didn't), so he called her up and once he clued in, they ended up on their first date.
Sophia said she knew it was meant to be when they realized they had so many of the same tattoos, which had to be more than coincidence! She loves that Antonio is so handy, and his passion for woodworking inspired her to find him a wedding band with a beautiful wood inlay.
Antonio popped the question to Sophia long ago, but life kept getting in the way and it wasn't until now that their wedding day was meant to be. So they made the journey all the way to Colorado to say their vows in the most intimate and meaningful ceremony surrounded by each other and by the natural beauty around them.
