It was all about the blues at this traditional Catholic wedding in downtown Grand Junction. Donna and Daniel from Cedaredge were married in a full mass at St. Joseph’s Church in Grand Junction, Colorado amid gorgeous stained glass and fragrant Easter decorations. It was a beautiful ceremony for a beautiful bride as she walked down the aisle to guitar music from local musician Javier de los Santos. Her hair and makeup were crafted by stylists from Hair We Are in Grand Junction.
It was a fun challenge capturing the sacred event in a fresh way by exploring different angles of the amazing Catholic cathedral. I loved incorporating the architectural elements of the church for unique compositions. Mostly I loved capturing the emotions of the couple, and some of the photos of Donna getting ready before the ceremony were so beautiful they literally left me breathless. I just felt honored to be there for the special day for this great couple.
